THE HISTORY OF NEGRO LEAGUE BASEBALL

NLBB teams have a long and rich history, beginning with the founding of the first professional African-American baseball team, the Cuban Giants in 1885. During their heyday in the early 20th century, NLBB teams experienced tremendous success including numerous championships and records.
